MTLC-I 14m

Telescopic galvanized mast

The MTLC 14m Lighting Tower is a lighting set incorporated into road tow trailer, designed to accept either a 6.0 or 10.0kVA generator. The maximum mast height reached 14-metre and is fitted with either 4 no. 400 (JM version) or 4 no. 1500w (AL version) tungsten halogen lamps. The hydraulic system is securely housed into an integrated cabinet and the double electrical cable is contained inside the mast. The mast is lifted via a manually operated winch mechanism fitted with an automatic brake.

The MTLC 14m Lighting Tower is ideally suited for major construction projects, large outside events and in civil protection situations, although the operator will need to select the correctly silenced generator in order to ensure that noise level requirements are in keeping with the environment.

We can supply lighting towers to your own specific requirements,

  • Only safety has been considered, because no perception of detail is needed and visual fatigue is unlikely.
However, where it is necessary to see detail to recognise a hazard or where error in performing the task could put someone else at risk, for safety purposes as well as to avoid visual fatigue, the figure needs to be increased to that for work requiring the perception of detail.
The CIBSE (Code for interior lighting) gives more information and recommendation based on scientific knowledge, practical experience, technical feasibility and economic reality.
  • The purpose is to avoid fatigue; the illuminances will be adequate for safety purposes.
