Maxitruck - 13m

Telescopic galvanized mast

The Maxitruck 13m has a single 13m hydraulically operated lighting mast, fitted with 9 no. 1500w metal halide lamps and powered by a Caterpillar GP22 integrated generator. The complete unit is mounted onto a suitable sized flatbed truck, such as Iveco, Peugeot or Nissan. The Maxitruck is probably one of the most powerful mobile lighting set designed and built - constructed to give out reliable ‘stadium quality’ lighting in a variety of differing environments and temperatures.

The Maxitruck 13m  is ideally suited for small and medium sized airports, civil protection situations and in environments where mobile lighting is needed urgently.

We can supply lighting towers to your own specific requirements,

  • Only safety has been considered, because no perception of detail is needed and visual fatigue is unlikely.
However, where it is necessary to see detail to recognise a hazard or where error in performing the task could put someone else at risk, for safety purposes as well as to avoid visual fatigue, the figure needs to be increased to that for work requiring the perception of detail.
The CIBSE (Code for interior lighting) gives more information and recommendation based on scientific knowledge, practical experience, technical feasibility and economic reality.
  • The purpose is to avoid fatigue; the illuminances will be adequate for safety purposes.
